As a dentist, I have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives every day, from getting a patient out of pain so that they can finally have a restful night, to restoring broken teeth or replacing missing teeth to improve health, or restoring smiles for improved self-esteem and confidence. However, the best part of my job is building relationships with my patients. Over the past several years, I have met truly fascinating people from my community, and the friendships we’ve established mean so much to me.
Whatever your dental problem, Divine Dental Center can be your solution for a lifetime! Call our Murfreesboro, TN dental office today!
Education and Continuing Education
I was born in Nigeria and earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from University of Benin. I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and attended North Carolina State University, earning my Master of Microbiology. In 2005, I was awarded a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee.
While in dental school, I received numerous awards, was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and graduated at the top of my class. I also served as the Chief Resident in the post-graduate General Practice Residency Program at Meharry School of Dentistry.
I consider myself a “forever student” so having the opportunity to learn new things that I can implement to grow both personally and professionally is very important to me. I study sedation dentistry to help patients with dental anxiety or patients who want more dentistry done per visit to receive the oral health they desire and deserve. I also keep current on preventive and restorative dentistry, as well as cosmetic dentistry, to help patients renew and rejuvenate their smile. You are never fully dressed without a smile!
Family and Community
I currently live in the middle Tennessee area with my handsome spouse and two very lovely daughters. When not at work, I cherish my time with my family. I also enjoy visiting with friends and traveling.
I proudly support several in school and after-school programs in the Murfreesboro area. We visit early-learning centers to educate our leaders of tomorrow about the importance of caring for their mouth and choosing healthy foods.
